How easy is it to catch herpes?
ƒ∂ƒ˙©√˙√˙† asked:
My brother is coming to stay with me, and he has a bad case of herpes in his mouth. I am really worried that I can catch it from him just from being around him, and using the bathroom he uses, etc. Is that possible? How easy is it spread?

You could use the same cup as him, in order to get it, you would have to drink a gallon of his Saliva, or have sex. but since both of those are gross. You wouldn’t do it and won’t get it.

just take care you don’t share the same cups, glasses, toothbrushes, or anything that might come in contact to his saliva… and if they do come (naturally, man’s got to interact with some objects around him sooner or later), just wash it well in a dishwasher or by hand, and you’ll be fine… being around him won’t do you any harm,
if you’re neat and hygienic in normal life, clean after yourself and all that, you have no worries…

All of the above answers are great advice. Be sure not to share cigarettes and bongs and don’t kiss your brother goodbye when he leaves.
