How big is the chance of herpes infection?
Jack T asked:
This will sound really stupid but I never really cared about stds besides hiv and it was just recently I found out that so many people have herpes, or at least in usa, here in europe, not so many I guess.

Well Ive been having sex with different girls just for one night, and am planning to... What are the chances this disease is transmitted? I will obviously notice if the person has an outbreak, or not? What can I do to prevent getting this virus from girls? Is there something together with a condom?

Amazing New Ebook On Curing Herpes!
You may already have it. Most people who have herpes have symptoms that are so mild that they don’t realize they are infected – even though they can spread the virus to others.
Herpes can be transmitted even when no symptoms are present. And you may not notice her symptoms, even if she has them. Heck, she may not notice her symptoms. Condoms do not do much to protect against the virus.
In committed couples, where they were very careful to never have sex during an outbreak, the likelihood of transmission was small. But that is not your situation. You really aren’t in a position to strategize with these women about protecting yourself. It is also unlikely that they will trust you not to reject them, and probably don’t feel much loyalty to keeping you healthy. This is the nature of one-night stands, I’m afraid.
I’d say that your chances are quite high that you will contract herpes – if you haven’t already.
The biggest hassle about herpes is that you have a moral obligation to then tell future partners that they are at risk. I “catted around” quite a bit until I caught herpes. After that, I was sort of stuck. I was not inconsiderate enough to sleep with men without telling them about the risk. But I knew that no one would want to have a one-night stand with someone who had herpes. I chose to start dating monogamously. I suspect that many others simply choose to put their partners at risk.
I’m sorry that I don’t have a better answer for you. You’ll either need to accept the risk, or you’ll need to start getting intimate enough with these women to have an honest conversation with them about STDs.
And I would go and get a complete STD panel done – which usually doesnt’ include herpes unless you ask.
For more information on genital herpes, as well as HPV (which is also difficult to avoid), I recommend the website below. It’s easy to read, and quite reliable.
Good luck.

There is no 100% certainty that you will not get this virus if you have sex with multiple people. Not unless you have a body condom lol…
Many people are ignorant or just in denial about thinking they could have it so they don’t tell or don’t get tested. Many people do not know much about it or think they do and have bad information.

Herpeset:Genital Herpes Relief
BEST thing for you to do is not sleep around, use a condom, and know the person well before jumping in the sheets with them. My motto one night of fun and pleasure is not worth a life time of an uncurable disease. HIV is not the only disease that will stay with you for a lifetime, you need to consider AIDS, and Herpes. AIDS damages your body, and weakens your immune system many people who have AIDS do not die from AIDS rather dying from a cold their immune system could not beat causing a very high fever. and Herpes well when there is a break out sometimes its not bad and for most people eventually have to go see their doctor to get the warts burned and removed because the outbreak grew so much it causes a blockage around the anus and penis/vaginal area. so by all means if you dont mind needing to do that in order to use the rest room then sleep around. and dont believe that lie that if the person does not have a break out you cant catch it. the disease is still in the blood stream and other various bodily fluids. so like i said your best bet is to not sleep around and use a condom even using a condom doesnt mean you cant catch the STD it does NOT prevent it which is the reason i say also know the person well enough before deciding to sleep with them.

Herpeset:Genital Herpes Relief
There is not much you can do to prevent herpes from being transmitted, accept to hope and pray that they either don’t have herpes, or they have no signs of an out break.
Even condoms don’t protect against it 100 percent since they don’t cover every part of your genitals, and herpes takes skin to skin contact to pass on.
You may not notice if they are having an out break. People can have mild ones with out visible blisters or sores. But if they do not have an out break there is less of a chance of herpes being passed on.
Don’t know what the stats are for herpes in Europe, but in North America 1 in 4 adults has the genital type and 80 percent of the world population has the oral type. It’s like saying one out of every four people you slept with could have had herpes. So eventually you will run into a partner with cold sores or genital herpes. Just get an std and herpes test done every couple of months if your planning on being sexually active, specially with people you don’t know.

Even if you deceided to ‘just eat out’ the girls you can get involved with herpes. When I got it, the guy was doing just that, and ‘wasn’t aware’ he had a sore forming on his lip, By the time he walked me to my car after the sore was HUGE! One of those that when you constantly rub the sore it pops up more, yeah. I suggest leaving this wreckless behaviour in the past, get tested and consider yourself lucky to have survived disease free
