Well it depends…. If a person has HSV-1 the herpes virus usually associated with cold sores then yeah you can get herpes that way but you will get cold sores. If you have HSV-2 herpes that is associated with genitals then you can’t give that to someone by kissing them or what ever you can not contract herpes if a condom is being used. So you can still have sex but it is important to let your partner know so that way it is their choice. If you have anymore questions feel free to email me.
