Its probably not, if there is no blister like lesion on your mouth. Sometimes when your lips are dry, they can crack on the sides and get irritated. I get them all the time during the winter. Just make sure you keep some chap stick on hand so it can heal faster.

that doesnt sound like cold sore, a cold sore starts as a blister, ive never seen it as dry cracks on the sides of the mouth, are you sure you just didnt eat alot of potatoe chips lol
