Woman will see the eruptions appearing over the whole of the pubic area, including the anus and buttocks. Sometimes the outbreak is that mild that a torch or flashlight is used during the examination.
So what do herpes sores look like? Sometimes herpes simply manifests as reddening of the affected area. It is popssible that you could also feel feverish and even have some flu like aches and pains. A discharge from the penis or vagina may also occur.
Those first outbreaks of herpes are usually more severe, and generally involve flu-like symptoms and swollen glands for a week or so. Following outbreaks tend to be periodic and only occur about five times a year. These herpes outbreaks can also be brought on the stress level of the infected person. The outbreak may also be elongated due to depression.
