im having my first genital herpes outbreak and im in A LOT of pain..I have swollen to almost 4 times the normal size of 'down there' and have around 20 sores around my vagina and bum. I can barely move, let alone walk. I am on valtrex and am taking panadine (over the counter pain relief) but nothing seems to work and its just getting worse and worse, ive had symptoms for about five days now and am desperate to get relief. although i am taking sleeping pills i still wake up 1-2 hours after sleeping in pain and cant get back to sleep. I have around 2 salt water baths a day and dry myself with a hairdryer. is there anything i can do to make this pain stop, i pretty much burst into tears every time i move. is it possible to get stronger pain meds from a doctor for herpes?
